'Ice Patrol' from Spiderlight Films

The Look has completed the grade on a 4 x 60 minute HD documentary for FIVE and National Geographic

'Ice Patrol' follows an extraordinary mission to the Antarctic on board HMS Endurance, the Royal Navy's very unique and sole ice patrol ship.

The series was shot on mulitple tapeless cameras, including the Sony PDW 700 XDcam, two EX3s, and also an adapted Sony HDcam camera onboard one of the ship's Lynx helicopters (known as a Gyron), which gives stunning images and a real sense of scale.

The Look's Managing Director Thomas Urbye comments "The images we received on this documentary were truly breathtaking, by the time we had brought out the best from them the final result is a beautiful and engaging piece of television. It was a real pleasure working with Martin and Rosie at Spiderlight on this fantastic documentary'.
